Sleeving Fiberglass Chart

Quad spreaders are NOT discounted further, as they are already discounted from individual piece prices . WHOLESALE/OEM PRICING: If you are a reseller or manufacturer, you may qualify for our factory-direct, wholesale/OEM pricing! SUBSTANTIAL savings are possible with increasing volume, and our customer service is unsurpassed. Email us for quantity pricing. CONSTRUCTION ADVICE: Available free by telephone. For almost unlimited life, we highly recommend that any fiberglass - even ours which is UV-stabilized - be painted. A sprayed primer coat and flat-black top coat, works best. Duties, customs charges, VAT, and / or brokerages fees, (if any might apply for your country) are impossible for the shipper to determine, and are ALWAYS the responsibility of the purchaser. CUSTOM CUTTING We frequently get questions from customers, asking if we can cut our fiberglass (most of which is stocked in 8 foot lengths) before shipping. We do offer custom cutting of our stocked tube and rod lengths. Either for getting you under the oversize shipping dimensions or if your project requires certain lengths, we can cut it to length. Cutting is available for a small charge of $1.00 per cut. We bundle ordered goods to minimize overall cuts and only charge for cuts made. The usual reason is to save a great deal of money on shipping. (See discussion on shipping of oversize packages, here): http://www.mgs4u.com/upsinfo.htm At other times, the customer just wants the cut length accomplished before the goods are shipped so they are ready for a specific use immediately on delivery. In either case, NO PROBLEM! Simply tell us your cutting instructions in the "comments" section of our secure online order form. On shipments from our retail warehouse, there is a cutting charge of $1.00 per cut. If we can bundle several pieces of your order together and cut them all at one time (such as when 20 pieces of small diameter rod is all being cut to the same length) this still just counts as one cut, and the charge is just $1 per cut. The number we can bundle for a single cut depends, of course, on the diameter and type of product ordered, but we will always do our best to save you money on the cuts. *****On whole sale / OEM quantity orders ($400 minimum order) of round tube and round solid rod that we can ship direct from our factory, there is NO CHARGE for cutting. Tolerances: At our retail warehouse, we do "rough cuts" only, with best tolerance of 1/8 inch. At the factory we have far more elaborate diamond saws, and can easily cut to tolerances of 1/16 inch at no extra charge. Tighter tolerances ARE possible from the factory, but usually carry additional charges. (Inquire) Let us quote on your needs! Most requested cutting of 8 foot goods to avoid "oversize" shipping charges:
Shipping There are 3 steps when calculating shipping. Step 1 Determine your shipping zone. Refer to the chart on the following page: http://www.mgs4u.com/upsinfo.htm For 8 foot and 4 foot goods, once you have your shipping zone, refer to the chart below for the shipping cost to your zone (for anywhere from one piece to 70 pounds of goods). The only other charge is a flat $2.00 per order flat-rate packing charge.
For goods below 46 inches, shipping costs are determined by the total weight of the goods. You can estimate your shipping cost on the FedEx Website using "30068" in the "From" zip code section, your zip code in the "To" zip code section, and estimating the shipping weight of your package (Figure that the box and packaging weighs 3 pounds.) Step 3 For 8 foot and 6 foot goods, you will need the full lengths to be shipped, which can be transported by normal carriers such as FedEx. (This length does not require the far more expensive motor-freight shipping that longer goods would.) While FedEx does transport 8 foot and 6 foot long goods, they are considered "oversize" and have additional handling and shipping charges added because of the "dimensional weight". Figure that you can ship a single 8 foot or 6 foot good, or up to 70 pounds of goods in the same box for that same oversize shipping cost. (Figure that the box and packaging weighs 3 pounds.) With this in mind, many people combine orders with friends or family, and everyone splits the shipping cost for a SUPER deal! Note: The 2 foot goods are not considered "oversize" when shipping. The shipping costs for the 2 foot goods are determined by total weight (The weight of the goods plus 3 pounds for the box and packing). The 2 foot goods can be ordered along with the 8 foot and 4 foot goods to achieve the most yield of the 70 pound maximum weight when ordering oversized goods.
