These packages each contain the fiberglass tubes (MK-8 series has 8 foot long tubes, MK-6 series has 6 foot long tubes, and MK-4 series has 4 foot ling tubes) plus all sizes of our Quik-Clamps needed for your model, at a package discount price. We also offer our 8 foot lengths of fiberglass tube "by-the-piece", and sell our Quik-Clamps individually, so you can create your own custom mast, perfect for your particular use! Custom mast configurations Depending on the height and load bearing capability you are trying to achieve, you can order this system "by the piece." If you needed a 22ft., light, highly portable system to hold up light things, you could use the 1 1/4" tube, 1" tube, 3/4" tube, and the 2 corresponding "Quik-Clamps" , the models MC-1.25 and the MC-1. This selection would allow some flexibility at the top while being light and easily movable. The 43 ft. Mast assembly is shipped as 8 foot fiberglass tubes, sleeved, with the clamps not installed on the tubes.

Compact carrying techniques When fully assembled, but nested, the Quik-Clamps add approximately 1 foot, 3 inches to the length of the fiberglass tubes used. The 8 foot tubes become a 9 foot, 3 inch long assembly, and the 4 foot tubes become a 5 foot, 3 inch long assembly. To shorten the package for easier transport, simply slide the sections apart from one another and bundle them side-by-side, for a new maximum assembly length of only 1.75 inches longer than the fiberglass! The larger, shorter bundles become much easier to put on most cars and small trucks. These lengths are of course for the full-size versions, consisting of all 6 fiberglass tubes, which would be "worst case". Custom masts consisting of fewer sections would be accordingly smaller. The "Quik-Clamps" may be supplied with EITHER our standard-equipment non-metallic glass-filled screws or with stainless screws. Both types are extremely rugged and strong, and operate identically. The glass-filled screws have the advantage of being totally non-metallic, non-magnetic, non-conductive, and RF transparent, and are impervious to continuous duty in salt water environments. Stainless screws are more rugged in applications involving constant handling / frequent adjustment in commercial or military applications. All of our screws are "universal", in that both types fit any and all sizes of our "Quik-Clamps". We sell these screws individually as well. NOTE: You will automatically receive one screw of the material of your choice with each clamp ordered. (specify when ordering masts or clamps, if you have a preference) You need only order the ones below if you want BOTH materials for some reason, or if you have somehow lost one, for instance. Accessories and mounts Our fiberglass masts are an extremely popular and still expanding new product line, and we have frequently been asked for bases and mounts of various types. While we do not offer these accessories, as hardware is not a line of our expertise, they are "in the works" by several other companies. When development is completed we plan to offer links and information regarding these accessories on this page for the easy reference of our customers. In the meanwhile, you should be able to purchase these items from one of the companies working on this project, Penninger Radio. NEW ITEM! We now have custom made guy rings, manufactured specifically for our mast systems! These guy rings are machined from mineral-filled acrylic, a material which is non-metallic, non inductive, non-conductive, impervious to UV, and very strong. We have seven sizes available, each made to fit perfectly over our fiberglass tubes of the same size. They will not scar the fiberglass surface. They slip freely on the fiberglass tubes, and rest on top of the "Quik-Clamp" below. (For example, the 3/4 inch size fits on our 3/4 inch OD tube, and will rest on top of our MC-1 Quik-Clamp, which is installed at the top end of the 1 inch OD tube.) Each guy ring has 5 drilled and counter-sunk holes for your guy rope, allowing you to select either 3 point OR 4 point guying! The counter-sunk holes will not cut guy ropes with sharp edges. Smaller two sizes accept guy rope diameter of 3/16 inch maximum. Larger four sizes accept guy rope diameter of ¼ inch maximum. Colors vary. (Our selection.) )
