Comet CV05C-2000M/5 ceramic vacuum variable capacitor, rated at 300-2000 pf, and 5 kv peak. Maximum continuous current is 114 amps, RMS. Part of the Comet "Power-Con?series for high current applications. The new format Comet part number for this capacitor is CVPO-2000-BC/5. Diameter is 88 mm, Length is 147.1 mm, and weight is approximately 3.1 pounds. With six drilled and tapped holes on front shoulder, and six drilled and tapped holed on integral fear flange for mounting. No further mounts required. Length from front shoulder to rear flange is 4.94 inches. Has 1/4?OD shaft with slotted end. Condition: New, unused, in original bag. These capacitors do not meet the specifications for the particular model . This can happen because of many reasons, but they are still perfectly usable in other capacitance ranges or maximum voltages . For instance, we might have a type that is listed at 15 kv, but tests good to 12 kv . In this case, we will not sell it to a user who needs 15 kv ratings, but if you need only 5 kv, 7 . 5 kv, or 10 kv, this capacitor would do nicely . If you want us to check our "out of spec" shelves for current stock, just tell us your capacitance range and voltage requirements (and current rating if you know it . . . or approximate power level) and we will let you know what we have available at steep discounts! Jennings CSV4-1400-0203 ceramic vacuum variable capacitor. With 1/4" OD shaft. Supplied with "misalignment connector" on end of shaft, attached with hex screws and pinned through shaft. We can remove the misalignment connector at no charge on customer request. Rated at 8-1400 pf, 3 kv peak. Maximum current is 45 amps RMS at 4 Mhz. Measures 2.36 inches max diameter, and 5.57 inches long overall. Weight 1 pound, 7 ounces. Front shoulder has a 4 hole permanently mounted flange. Rear has a drilled and tapped hole for connection. Lots of capacitance in a very small package!
