Supplied with a 3-hole aluminum flange mounting collar, which can be slipped over the top of the relays to hold the very small flange in place against the chassis. The photo shows the collar in place on the top 3 relays, and removed from the bottom two relays. A US quarter dollar coin is shown for scale. Condition is removed from equipment, fully tested, and guaranteed. May be supplied with protective capacitor and diode installed across coil, as recommended by the manufacturer. Jennings type RF4B, ceramic SPST latching vacuum relays. The contacts are rated at 30 amps, 8 kV These relays have two 26.5 vdc coils. Pulse one coil to close, pulse other coil to open. Rated 10 ms close time. These relays have been removed from printed circuit boards, and have short (but easily soldered to) coil leads. They are tested and guaranteed to your satisfaction. They are ideal for uses such as remote antenna switching applications or switching in extra length for the CW portion of the band, where it is advantageous not to have to keep the coil energized for long periods. Coils measure 8 ohms nominal resistance. At 26.5 vdc, the coils require quite a bit of current to reliably operate. A DC supply rated at 4 amps or better is recommended. Remember . PULSE coils only. Replacement Coils and Contact Sets When a vacuum relay fails, it is of course very rare for both the removable coil and the contact set to both fail at the same time. Lightning damage is normally the only cause of simultaneous failure. The coil is easily removable by means of a screw or nut on the very bottom of the relay. This leaves the contact set (with contacts still sealed in a vacuum). The failed component can be easily replaced at well less than the cost of an entire new unit. COILS:

Jennings RD6A-26N400 glass vacuum relay. SPST contacts, Form B contacts....NORMALLY CLOSED. The Jennings RD6A is similar to the Kilovac H-9/S21. Contacts rated 15 kv peak, 12 kv operating, and 15 amps RMS maximum continuous current.Close speed 18 ms, release 8 ms. Coil is 26.5 vdc, coil resistance is 265 ohms. With 3 hole flange mount. Also supplied with custom aluminum mounting bracket at no additional charge. (Easily removed if desired.) Supplied with optional high-current terminals, (shown). Length 3 inches overall. Maximum diameter is 1.5 inches, not including optional high current terminals. Weight is 3 ounces, excluding mounting bracket. Removed from new or like-new military equipment, satisfaction always guaranteed.

Contacts rated 20 kv peak, 15 kv operating, and 15 amps RMS maximum continuous current.Close speed 15 ms. Coil is 26.5 vdc, coil resistance is 265 ohms. With 3 hole flange mount. Jennings RF5A SPST, normally closed, ceramic vacuum relay. These compact relays are not a latching type, but do have normally closed contacts. Contact ratings are 8 kv test, 7.5 kv peak working, 12 amps maximum. Contact resistance is 20 milliohms. Coils are 26.5 vdc, pull-in voltage is 16 vdc, and drop-out voltage can vary from 1-10 vdc. These relays are extremely FAST... same rated speed as the popular RJ1A, at 8 milliseconds operate, 8 milliseconds release! They are rated for an extremely long service life of 10,000,000 operations!
