 Jennings RD6A-26N400 glass vacuum relay. SPST contacts, Form B contacts....NORMALLY CLOSED. The Jennings RD6A is similar to the Kilovac H-9/S21. Contacts rated 15 kv peak, 12 kv operating, and 15 amps RMS maximum continuous current.Close speed 18 ms, release 8 ms. Coil is 26.5 vdc, coil resistance is 265 ohms. With 3 hole flange mount. Also supplied with custom aluminum mounting bracket at no additional charge. (Easily removed if desired.) Supplied with optional high-current terminals, (shown). Length 3 inches overall. Maximum diameter is 1.5 inches, not including optional high current terminals. Weight is 3 ounces, excluding mounting bracket. Replacement Coils
When a vacuum relay fails, it is of course very rare for both the removable coil and the contact set to both fail at the same time. Lightning damage is normally the only cause of simultaneous failure. The coil is easily removable by means of a screw or nut on the very bottom of most vacuum relays. This leaves the contact set (with contacts still sealed in a vacuum). The failed component can be easily replaced at well less than the cost of an entire new unit.
We have a good assortment of coils (All are 26.5 vdc coils unless specifically noted otherwise.) If you do not see the coil you want, please feel free to call or email with your needs. We frequently have additional coils that are not shown here.
