Canadian Marconi Company Dry Dummy Load, Model DA-437 / GRC-103(V)

These compact but rugged dry dummy loads were made for the US military. FSN 5985-089-8990. Our understanding is that they were rated at 100 watts continuous, DC to 12 Ghz., but this information has not been verified. They have a type "C" female connector, which is impedance matched, and also good to 12 Ghz. We do have RF adapters to convert the type "C" female to the more standard type "N" female if desired. These loads measure 7 inches long X 3.07 inches wide X 3.125 inches high. Weight is approximately 3.5 pounds. These loads are made with a high-temperature ceramic element. The 100 watt rating seems pretty conservative, and they can of course take MUCH higher power levels for short periods of time.

Carborundum type 886 SP 500K , CESIWID, Inc. model 886 SP 500J, or equivalent, 50 ohm, non-inductive resistors, 10% tolerance.

We believe these to be rated at 25 watts continuous dissipation in still air. Much higher if immersed on oil or cooled with blown air.

These measure 5 inches long, and are .75 inch in diameter. We also have the mating mounting fuse clips for these resistors (pictured in the photograph) available for an additional $1 each. If you require these mounting clips, please specify.

Carborundum type 773 SP-6, 50 ohm,  non-inductive resistors

These non-inductive resistors are rated at about 5 or 10 watts continuous dissipation in still air. (We are not certain, as we have seen conflicting data.) Resistance is 50 ohms, with 10% tolerance. These were removed from the military 618-T transmitter, and are in very nice condition.   We have them available in beautifully custom-mounted pairs, as shown, complete with ceramic standoff mounts and end contacts, OR as individuals. The individuals are furnished as resistor only, without mounts or clamps. The mounted pairs are paralleled, yielding 25 ohms resistance at double the wattage rating as a single resistor. Individuals measure 1/2 inch diameter, and 1.75 inch long. Pairs measure 1.4 inches wide X 1.75 inches long X .85 inch tall including mounts and standoffs.
