Type HN - Connectors and Adapters
Max-Gain Systems, Inc. is proud to offer an assortment of hard-to find type "HN" connectors and adapters for sale. The type "HN" is an impedance matched (50 ohm) connector series that is weatherproof and rated for use from DC to 4 Ghz. It is basically a larger, somewhat higher-power version of the more familiar type "N". The insulation is rated at 5000 volts RMS, and the series has a rated working voltage of 1500 volts peak. ONE CAUTION: The type HN closely resembles the much less frequently encountered type "SC". These two series will NOT mate. Note that the Teflon insulation of the type "SC" is somewhat conical in shape, tapering to a smaller diameter as it comes to its end. The Teflon insulator of the type HN is cylindrical, with constant diameter along its entire length. Most of these are "removed from military equipment", and therefore are top quality, mil-spec types! All are guaranteed to be in very good, serviceable condition, and are always guaranteed to your satisfaction. We offer refund or exchange (less only shipping and packing) on ALL of our connectors and adapters if not delighted, for any reason! NOTE: Not all of these connectors / adapters are available at all times. While we do obtain them on a recurring basis, their availability should be verified before ordering.
